Sophie Elisabeth
I founded Sophie Elisabeth Design following graduating with a Masters from Nottingham Trent in 2019. Based in Richmond upon Thames Sophie Elisabeth Design focuses on the application of hand & digital embroidery to create bespoke accessories & garments. Pieces emphasise textural variation and intricate design., often emulating & building upon organic structures found in nature.. Due to the delicate & time consuming workflow, collections typically comprise limited release or one-off creations, please contact me to discuss bespoke comissions.

My current full-time position focuses on digital embroidery design – implementing Wilcom es 4.5 in the creation of artworks, bespoke orders and in house sampling on multihead embroidery machines. I also work at UK-based and international client-facing events.
Hand & Lock
The Prize Finalist 2019
I achieved 2nd place in the Hand & Lock Prize Student Fashion Category in 2019 with my luxurious pastel pink overcoat. My design evoked a coral reef with myriad layers of laser cut shapes, fringing, beads, and over-size sequins.
